men fully live seminar

Becoming a man is not just a question of ideas. Rather, becoming a man fully alive involves growth of the whole person: mind, will, heart and body. This year, the freshman seminar of The Grade will focus on the education of the whole person. It will do so by complementing classroom sessions with visits to cultural locations in Manhattan. Sessions of The Grade will alternate between local “field trips” — such as visits to the 9/11 Memorial and the Morgan Library — and seminar sessions which relate these visits to growth in different dimensions of the human person — such as heart and mind. In this way, the seminar will offer a broad and immersive experience of what it means to be a man fully alive.
